This includes preparing quotes, managing purchase orders and invoices, arranging access and survey dates, and acting as a second point of contact for you, so questions are answered quickly.
Specialsim: Grace under pressure.
Wherever possible and safe to do so, I carry out all fieldwork myself. This means that when you appoint me, you work directly with me rather than a third-party subcontractor.
If a project requires specialist expertise beyond my own, I’m always open about this and will recommend people I know, trust, and would happily employ myself.
In the office, I’m supported by my partner, Theresa Radcliffe. Theresa manages data collation and digital mapping, including organising searches with the Local Biological Records Centre where required. She also brings together all field data so we can clearly understand what is present across your site, and handles quotations, scheduling, and the financial side of the business, while I take care of fieldwork and health and safety.
Theresa and I work from our office in Bickington, Barnstaple, Devon and all the tools I use are stored on a unit on the A361. From here I travel all over North Devon and across the southwest of England and south Wales.
